Keller Beach is located in a scenic cove and is one of the Bay’s few swimming beaches. Keller cove has a regular group of open water swimmers and is a favorite secret spot among locals to relax and enjoy the bay breeze.

Ferry point tunnel was constructed to allow access to a ferry dock during the development of the Santa Fe transcontiental railroad. Today, the tunnel is the gateway to Brickyard Cove, the Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline and the Richmond Yacht Club.

The Point Richmond waterfront includes miles of hiking trails on the Bay Trail and in the hills of Nicholl Knob. The new trail over the Richmond/San Rafael bridge connects cyclists and pedestrians to the trails of Marin County.

Richmond Yacht Club has long had a reputation as the “sailingest” club on San Francisco Bay. In 1932 a group of Richmond locals joined forces to form the Richmond Yacht Club. United by a common desire to promote affordable sailing, they built their own boats, sewed their own sails, constructed their own club house, and ran their own races. Over the years, this same do-it-yourself volunteer approach has characterized RYC, always with the primary emphasis on sailing and racing. 

The Point Richmond Business Association and community comes together each December to decorate the town square and usher in the holidays.

Riggers Loft is the East Bay’s go-to location for wine, relaxation and music.
