We also want to thank Richmond Mayor Eduardo Martinez for his presentation at our March luncheon and Baltic Kiss for catering the event with a delicious barbeque lunch.

The business association is looking forward to returning to a monthly luncheon format at the upstairs board room at the new Hotel Mac restaurant, now called Biancoverde. We’ve heard from owners, Blanca Zepedalomeli and Juvenal Magaña, that renovations are progressing and we can’t wait to see the updates.

The Point Richmond Business Association board is also working on planning a Fall Fest street fair extravaganza for late October. We look forward to bringing back many of the features we had last time which included bands, a pumpkin patch, vendor booths, restaurant booths, a video game truck, dance presentations and more. The Fall Fest is a fundraiser that generates funds for local non-profits including the Washington School PTA.

Lots of new ideas have been floated such as recognizing the Point’s historical district with period costumes and a parade of period cars.
