Spring Swing Dance on Red Oak Victory
April 22 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Evelyn and Her Vintage Ties will be performing at our Spring Swing Dance on board the historic World War II ship SS Red Oak Victory!
We haven’t held a Spring Swing event on Red Oak Victory since before COVID. But on April 22 we’re back and better than ever! One of the Bay Area’s most popular swing ensembles, Evelyn and Her Vintage Ties, will provide the evening’s entertainment with live 30s-40s music. The Factory Bar will be serving beer, wine, and their famous cocktails (for those over 21, of course). And, if you get hungry, we’ll have snacks available for purchase plus all the free popcorn you can eat!
You’re not a dancer, you say? No problem. Just sit and enjoy the music, a couple cocktails, and a snack. Or take a self-guided tour of the historic ship, Red Oak Victory, and see how Grandpa served during World War II. Doors open at 6:30 pm on April 22, 2023.
How much fun is a Swing Dance on the Red Oak Victory? Check out this video from our 2017 Spring Swing!
A $25 Ticket ($10 for kids 12 and under), includes admission to the ship and dancing to The Vintage Tie’s music. Beer, wine, and cocktails by the Factory Bar (21 and over only), and snacks and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
NOTE: Most events on Red Oak Victory sell out in advance, so don’t count on tickets being available at the door! And… tickets purchased at the door are $5 more.
So put on your dancing shoes or just come to listen and enjoy the music. Either way you’ll experience an unforgettable evening in truely historic surroundings.
This is a fundraising event and proceeds from ticket sales go directly into the restoration of the ship. The Red Oak Victory is operated by a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation (EIN 94-6095083) and your ticket purchase should be tax-deductible.
