It blends traditional and contemporary compositions, immersing participants in Kreole culture and vibrant Zydeco sounds. This distinctive music from Southwest Louisiana emerged in the mid-1900s.

The “Are You Ready To Learn” music program offers engaging ways to explore the rich tapestry of African and Native American Blues and French Kreole dance melodies with Afro-Caribbean influences. Participants experience the joy of playing iconic Zydeco instruments like the washboard, drums, and accordions.
