annual community-wide festivals in Richmond include: Cinco de Mayo,
held in the Civic Center in the spring; Juneteenth, held in Nicholl
Park every summer; Festival By the Bay held in Marina Bay every fall;
and Snow Ball, held every winter in the Convention Center.
An
outdoor Farmers' Market operates in the Civic Center every Friday from
May through mid-November, and attracts a large number of residents from
a broad range of ethnic and cultural groups.
