Support Richmond City Council.    Ask the State Lands Commission
to Require Chevron to Provide Safe Bay Trail Access to Point Molate

The Richmond City Council came down strongly for the San Francisco Bay Trail on March 20, 2007 by voting 8/0/1 to ask the State Lands Commission (SLC) to require Chevron to provide land and pay part of the cost for the planned Bay Trail to Point Molate before granting a new 30-year lease of State sub tidal lands for continued operation of Long Wharf. Download City Council Resolution 34-07 >>
Please see if you would like more background.

Please ask the State Lands Commission to respect Richmond City Council Resolution 34-07. The City of Richmond and the residents of the region should not have to continue suffering the adverse effects Long Wharf operations without mitigation requiring Chevron to provide land and help fund closure to the Bay Trail gap that their operations have created.

NOTE: If the email button above does not work properly, just send your message to TRAC and we'll gladly forward it. Thank you!

Do you want to help complete the Bay Trail in Richmond?
If so, this page will tell you when action is needed. Typically this will take the form of attending public meetings or sending emails to elected officials and government agencies asking their support for completing the Bay Trail in Richmond. Email TRAC asking to be added to the Richmond Bay Trail Network if you would like to be informed of such opportunities.
